Standard Sizes

All sizes for Outrigger Pads are nominal, exact dimensions approximately 1/8″ less after cut and press

As a general guideline, outrigger pad size should be at least three times the size of the outrigger foot itself for proper weight distribution.

To calculate, multiply length x width = square area and radius x radius x 3.14 = round area.

Example:

Foot size 8″ x 10″= 80 sq. in. Pad size should then be 80 x 3 = 240 sq. in. or more. Then use the following thickness chart as a guideline only. Spread the load out as much as possible for greater stability.

2-1/4″ Thick Pads up to 10 Ton
3″ Thick Pads up to 30 Ton
3-3/4″ Thick Pads up to 60 Ton
4-1/2″ and over up to 80 Ton

Always inspect outrigger foot and pads prior to use for any debris or possible signs of failure.

Set up on level and stable ground conditions only. Do not span voids or use additional materials to level pad. Always stack a smaller pad on top of a larger under pad where required to gain additional height or spread out the load.

The outrigger foot should be placed in the center of the outrigger pad and all pads underneath it.

Always follow original equipment manufacture’s guidelines.
